Jan Gryglak, 75, of Stanhope, passed away on December 16, 2018. Born in Lapsze Wyzne, Poland, he came to the US in 1981 and settled in Clifton before moving to Stanhope in 1986. A Polish Navy Veteran, Jan was a plumber with Dufek Plumbing in Kenilworth for 24 years, retiring in 2005. A former parishioner of Ss. Cyril & Methodius RC Church, Clifton, Jan was a parishioner of St. Jude's RC Church, Hopatcong.

Beloved husband for 49 years of Maria (Stanczak). Devoted father of Jolanta Provost and her husband Ron of Ramsey, and Dorothy Gorker and her husband Michael of Berkeley Heights. Loving grandfather of Emerson Gorker, Bradley Provost, and Addison Gorker. Dear brother of Anna and Maria in Poland, and the late Jozef.

Funeral Wednesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Ss. Cyril & Methodius RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Tuesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
