James T. Russnak, 52 of Hopatcong, formerly of Clifton passed away on January 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Passaic, James lived most of his life in Clifton before moving to Hopatcong. A self employed general contractor, James worked for many years in construction and could fix anything, and had also worked for Home Depot in Newton.

Some of his hobbies included fishing, cooking and hiking. James enjoyed listening to music, especially Chris Cornell, and he loved watching horror movies with his wife Kerry.

Beloved husband of Kerry Tangora Russnak. Loving son of Frank and Marilyn (Miller) Russnak. Dear brother of Frank Russnak and his wife Beth, and Kevin Russnak and his wife Nikkol. Loving uncle of Colton, Bryson, Collin, Molly, the late Kaycee, and great niece Sora. Cherished nephew of Robert Russnak and his companion Cathy Pinchak. He will be sadly missed by his two canine companions Jewelz and Jaxx.

Visiting Thursday, January 16, 2025, 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. A prayer service will begin at 4:45 PM. Cremation will be private.
