James Goldberg, 73, of Clifton passed away on October 17, 2021. Born and raised in Passaic, where he lived most of his life before settling in Clifton in 2016. A Proud Army Veteran, James was employed by the Passaic Board of Education, Passaic, for over 20 years before retiring in 2015. He later worked in security  for both Okonite Cable, Paterson, and Herald News, Passaic.

Beloved husband of Virginia (Pagliaro). Devoted father of Catherine Vasquez of Paterson, James Goldberg of Rutherford, Jo-Lyn and Crystal Goldberg, both of Wallington, Monica Goldberg of Clifton and Nancy Goldberg of Easton, PA. Cherished grandfather of Sierra, Ishmael, Aniya, Amanda, Alyssa, Niayara, Xzavious, Dior, Angie, Aria, Angel, Octaviano, Alani, Jaelle and Jamian. Loving brother of the late Peter and Alice Goldberg.

Visiting Wednesday 6 - 8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Service Thursday 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
