James A. Fox, Esq., 66, of Rutherford, passed away on September 12, 2015. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Rutherford and Lyndhurst, returning to Rutherford 20 years ago. A 1976 Graduate of Widener College, The Delaware Law School, with a Juris Doctor Degree, James was admitted and sworn to practice law by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania on May 12, 1977. James was later appointed and sworn in as Attorney at Law be the Supreme Court of New Jersey on December 20, 1984. James maintained a Law Practice in Nutley and Rutherford for 30 years. A member of the Lyndhurst Elks Lodge, James served as Exhalted Ruler from 1993-1994. Beloved husband of Lilibeth (Sumbilla). Devoted father of Dylan James Fox. Dear brother of Barbara D'Agostino of Lyndhurst, and Cynthia Finegold of New Bedford, MA. Memorial Gathering Friday 5-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation was private.
