James M. DeLillo, 88, of Clifton, passed away on June 21, 2021. Born in Hackensack, he lived in Clifton for many years.

A parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic, James was a Staff Sergeant for the US Army, where he served for 28 years, retiring in 1992.  A member of the Regina-Mundi Knights of Columbus Council #3969, the Clifton Elks Lodge #1569, Aurora Caravan #55, Order of Alhambra, James was also a member and past commander of the AMVETS.

Beloved husband for 64 years of Marie (Massa). Devoted father of James DeLillo and his wife Karen of Clifton, and Cindy Grubiak and her husband Ted of Clifton. Loving grandfather of Jacklyn and James DeLillo, Jr.. Cherished great grandfather of Tommy and Michael.

Funeral Saturday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Passaic. Interment, Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.StJude.org, in memory of James would be greatly appreciated.
