Obituary

Jadwiga (Semplinska) Skrzynski,98, of Passaic on December 15, 2009. Born in Siberia, she came to the US in 1952, settling in Chicago, and has lived in Paterson and Passaic most of her life. Jadwiga was a Nurse's Aide at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic for many years, before retiring in 1984. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Jadwiga was instrumental in establishing, and was the first Principal of the Adam Mickiewicz Polish School in Passaic. Beloved wife of the late Bronislaw M. who died in 1989. Devoted mother of Andrew and his wife Maria of Wayne. Loving grandmother of Matthew. Funeral Friday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church. Cremation, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
