J. Owen Berry, 79, of Pequannock, passed away on March 17, 2021. Born in Passaic he lived in Lincoln Park before moving to Pequannock 7 years ago.

A US Army Veteran during the Vietnam War, Owen was an IT Technician for BASF Corporation, Rockaway for 27 years. After retiring, Owen worked for the Berkshire Valley Golf Course in Jefferson Twsp. and was a member of the Lincoln Park Archery Club.

Beloved husband of Annette (Grosso). Devoted father of Melanie Vasa and her husband Dave of Boonton, and Mandy Coster and her husband Dave of Denville. Loving grandfather of Lucy, Jeremy and Ruby.

Funeral Monday 10 AM at Holy Spirit RC Church, 318 Newark-Pompton Tpke, Pequannock. Kindly meet at the church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Arrangements under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
