Israel "Tito" Sanchez, Sr., 72, of Fajardo, PR, passed away on February 14, 2017. Born in Puerto Rico, he was raised in Passaic and lived in Puerto Rico for many years before moving back to NJ in December. Tito was the owner/operator of an Exxon Gas Station and Mini Mart in Puerto Rico. He was a Classic Car & Hot Rod Enthusiast and a member of the United Street Racers, Passaic. He was also a member of a Bowling League and would sponsor Little League Baseball teams, both in PR.
Devoted father of Israel Sanchez, Jr. and his wife Patria of Virginia, Valerie Sanchez and her companion Edgar Villanueva of Totowa, and Damariz Luv Sanchez-Alexander and her husband Sean of TX. Cherished grandfather of Nastajia, Lala, Damariz, CJ, Cortney and Cortlyn. Loving great-grandfather of Ayden, Landon and Leighton. Dear brother of Marcelina Sanchez Gerena of PR and Israel Gerena of FL.
