Irvin Scheirer, 87, of Woodland Park, passed away on January 7, 2018. Born in Slatington, PA, he lived in Clifton before moving to Woodland Park in 2003.

A member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Clifton, Irvin was a Warehouse Manager for Airtech, Inc., in Clifton, retiring in 1992, and had also worked for Kenneth Curtains for many years.

A US Army Veteran, Irvin proudly served his country during the Korean War and was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton. Irvin loved golf, especially the day he had a hole-in-one. He also enjoyed fishing and bowling, and had bowled a perfect 300 game.

Beloved husband for 64 years of Dorothy (Phelps). Devoted father of Rev. Dr. Paul Scheirer and his wife Barbara Hudak-Scheirer of Henderson, TN, and Carol Wiedemann and her husband John of Kinnelon. Loving grandfather of Kyle, Bryan and Keith.

Visitation Thursday 3-6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Service 6 PM followed by Military Honors at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
