A parishioner of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic, Irene worked for Richardson Scale in Clifton for many years, before retiring several years ago. Beloved wife of the late Peter who died in 1996. Devoted mother of the late Robert. Cherished sister of Chester Bienkowski of Washington State, and the late Emily Samtak who died in 2007. Dear grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Loving aunt of Paul and Jeffrey Samtak of Clifton. Funeral Thursday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
