Irene Lesniewski's Obituary
Irene Lesniewski, 70, of Clifton, passed away on September 11, 2018. Born in Cologne, Germany, she came to the US in 1951 and settled in Wallington before moving to Clifton in 1986. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Irene volunteered at several nursing homes and loved to play gin rummy. She was a devoted member of the Red Hat Society. Irene worked for Hoffmann LaRoche for 20 years and later was an Administrative Assistant for IBM in Armonk, NY, for many years, retiring in 2013.
She also was a ski instructor for the Windham Mountain Resort in the Catskills for 10 years. Irene loved New York City and was passionate about theatre.
Beloved daughter of Maria (Pavlin) and the late Stefan
Lesniewski who passed away in 1991. Dear sister of the late Maria
Lesniewski who passed away in 2000.
Funeral Saturday 10:00 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Saturday 8 - 9:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
