Irene Gutkowski's Obituary
Irene (Szewczyk) Gutkowski, 68, of Clifton, passed away on March 13, 2017. Born in Poland, she came to the US in 1965 and settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton over 50 years ago.
A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Irene was a member of the former Leisure Club and the Polish Rosary Society. Irene was a manager for Prescott Co. in Passaic for 12 years.
Beloved mother of Ronald of Ft. Myers, FL, Darlene Besterci and her husband John of Clifton, Stephanie Fortuna of Nutley, and the late Donna Gutkowski who passed away in 2004. Loving grandmother of Sade, Jaden and Desiree. Dear sister of Richard Szewczyk of Clifton, William Szewczyk of Wayne, Mary Bajek of Pequannock, Diane Bogus of Ridgewood, Stacia Szewczyk of NY, and the late Thadeusz Szewczyk.
Funeral Saturday 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
