Ines A. Acevedo, 75, of Clifton, passed away on April 8, 2019. Born in San Luis, Dominican Republic, Ines came to the US in 1967 and settled in Great Neck, NY, before moving to Clifton 20 years ago.

Beloved wife of Angel Acevedo. Devoted mother of Roberto Mercedes of Port Washington, NY, Haydee Mercedes and her husband Raffaele Fabiano of Nutley, Richard Mejia of Baltimore, MD, and Renso Mejia of Reisertown, MD. Loving grandmother of Julissa, Jennifer, Antonio, Arissa, and Michael. Adored great-grandmother of Jadiel.

Visitation Tuesday 4:00-8:00 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation will be private. If desired, donations made in Ines' memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org would be greatly appreciated.
