Ilias Skounakis, 72, of Hamburg passed away on December 11, 2020. Born in Kontomari, Greece, Ilias came to the US in 1980 and first settled in Clifton before moving to Hamburg 20 years ago.

Beloved husband of Penny (Doris). Devoted father of Emanuel Skounakis and his wife Leisys of Vernon and Dr. Andreas Skounakis and his wife Yvannova Montalvo of Fairfield. Cherished grandfather of Mackenzie, Michael, Ilias, Maia and Christian Skounakis and Cynthia and Catherine Huhn. Dear brother of George Skounakis of Australia, Kostas and Antonis Skounakis and Nikki Soilentakis, all of Greece.

Funeral service Thursday 10AM at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, 818 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Arrangement under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.
