Hortensia Gamboa, 70, of Clifton, passed away on October 23, 2015. Born in Costa Rica, she came to the US in 1965 and lived in Maryland and Paterson before moving to Clifton. Hortensia was a Dietitian for Barnert Memorial Hospital in Paterson for 20 years, retiring in 1997. Beloved mother of Maria Aquije of Clifton and the late John Perez who passed away in 2010. Loving grandmother of Natalia, Alejandro, Andrew and John Angel. Cherished great grandmother of Hannah. Funeral Service Tuesday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting Monday 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
