Hernando H. Castaneda, 93, of Dover, passed away on October 7, 2023. Born in Chaquani, Colombia, he came to the US 31 years ago and settled in Dover. A member of the Dover Christian Center, Hernando worked in the coffee bean industry in Colombia for many years before retiring.

Beloved husband of the late Maria Castaneda who passed away in 2020. Devoted father of Luis, Carlos, Tito, Leisa, Edgar and Patricia Castaneda, and Estella Saavedra. Loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visiting Wednesday 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Thursday 12 - 2 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Dover Christian Center in memory of Hernando, would be greatly appreciated.
