Heriberta Santos, 84, of Clifton passed away on September 15, 2021. Born in Fajado, PR, came to the mainland in 1955 and first settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton 9 months ago. She was known as the 'mother of the block' and was the safe haven where friends and family would gather; she would always cook a delicious meal and greet you with her beautiful smile. She was also a devoutly religious woman who put her faith in God above all else. She will be dearly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Beloved mother of Johnny Arroyo, Jacqueline Arroyo, German Arroyo, Betty Arroyo, Janice Arroyo, Carol Cruz, Hydee Skerrett and Ruth Skerrett. Cherished grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 8. She is survived by 2 brothers and is predeceased by a brother and a sister.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday from 8:30-9AM at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 9-11 Tulip Street, Passaic. All other services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.
