Herbert Klutsarits, 89, of Clifton, passed away on January 16, 2019. Born in Clifton, he grew up in Paterson and moved to Clifton to raise his family and retire. A printer for Stauffer Chemical in Passaic for many years, Herbert also worked as a stationary engineer at St. Mary's Hospital, Passaic, retiring several years ago. A long time member of the Clifton Elks Lodge #1569, Herbert was a lifelong golfer, loved to sing and dance, and make his yearly trips to Wildwood Beach with his wife, Florence, and family.

Herbert was married for almost 69 years to his teenage sweetheart, Florence (Mulzet). Beloved father of Cheryl Stetz and her husband John of Clifton, Reed and his wife Janet of Pompton Plains, and the late Jon. Loving grandfather of Ryan Klutsarits and his wife Allison, Jennifer Hart and her husband Michael, Christopher Stetz and his wife Michele, Amanda Stetz, Amy Bredemeyer and her husband Jonathan, Jon Klutsarits, Jr., Kyla Klutsarits, and the late Jacklyn Klutsarits. Cherished great grandfather of Griffin and Nolan Klutsarits, Corwin and Asher Bredemeyer. Cherished son of the late John and Justine Klutsarits. Dear brother of the late William Klutsarits and Rose Harmon.

Visiting Saturday 3-6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation will be private.
