Helene Kalinka's Obituary
Helene (Freeswick) Kalinka, 87, of Clifton, passed away on July 7, 2021. Born in Passaic, she was a lifelong resident of Clifton.
A member of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Helene, a homemaker, was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Ladies Auxiliary, and was an avid Solitaire Player and loved to spend time at Ortley Beach.
Beloved wife for 57 years of the late Theodore "Ted" Kalinka, who passed away in 2019. Devoted mother of Theodore Kalinka and his companion Lisa Isadore of Toms River, Daniel Kalinka of Clifton, and Timothy Kalinka and his wife Christine of Long Valley. Loving Nana of Tyler, Steven, Renee, Travis, Kevin and Jacob. Dear sister of Bill Freeswick and his wife Dolores of Manahawkin, Larry Freeswick and his wife Joy of Toms River, and Ray Freeswick and his late wife Peggy of Florida.
Funeral Monday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
