Helen (Harboy) Werling, 90, of Clifton on May 21, 2010. Born in Passaic, Helen lived there before moving to Clifton in 1956.

An active parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Helen was a member of the the Leisure Club, the Golden Circle, was one of the "Pierogi Ladies" with the Loaves and Fishes, and Volunteered at the Annual Parish Picnic for many years. Helen worked for Becton Dickinson, Rutherford, in the Screen Printing Dept. for over 35 years, retiring in 1982.

Beloved wife of the late Charles W., who died in 2000. Devoted mother of Barbara Smith and her husband Kenneth of Vernon. Dear sister of the Late Stella Rys, George and Steve Harboy, and John Harboy who was killed during WW II. Loving grandmother of Jacqueline Kurelja and her husband John, Tracy Lynn Stewart and her husband George, K.C. Smith and his wife Dana. Cherished great grandmother of Luke, Kristina and Joseph Kurelja, Evan, Faith and Shane Stewart, Brady and K.J. Smith.

Funeral Tuesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
