Helen F. Skawinski's Obituary
Helen F. Skawinski, 96, of Prospect Park, passed away on February 12, 2019. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong resident of Prospect Park.
A parishioner of Holy Cross PNC Church, Woodland Park, Helen was a member of the Adoration Society and the Daughter's Club. Before retiring in 1984, Helen worked for Haband in Prospect Park for 23 years.
Beloved wife of the late Stanley who passed away in 1990. Devoted mother of Stanley Skawinski, Jr., and his wife Rebecca of Little Falls, and Elaine Rotsaert and her husband Jerry of Bloomingdale. Loving grandmother of Cheryl Skawinski, Keith Rotsaert and his wife Donna, and the late Michael Skawinski. Cherished great grandmother of Gabriella, Hunter, Christopher, Max, Rebecca and Kevin. Loving daughter of the late
Emelja (Hanger) and Julius Patynski, a founding member of the church. Dear sister of the late John Patynski and Mary Perry. Loving aunt of the late William Perry.
Funeral Saturday 8:15 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9:30 AM at Holy Cross PNC Church, Woodland Park. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
