Helen J. Marro's Obituary
Helen J. Marro, of Passaic, passed away on December 17, 2018. Born in Passaic, she lived there most of her life.
A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Helen was a member of the Rosary Society, the Prime Timers, the Valley Seniors, Clifton, and the Polish American Citizens Club, Lyndhurst. Helen was a Senior Clerk Typist for the City of Passaic in the Municipal Court, where she worked for 25 years, retiring in 2004.
Beloved wife of the late Rosario, who passed away in 2014. Devoted mother of Deborah Ann Parsons and her husband Michael of Lodi, and Robert Marro and his companion Denise of Bayville. Loving grandmother of Stefanie Zsamba and her husband Brian, Michael, and Robert Paul, Jr.. Cherished great grandmother of Edythe Grace. Sadly missed by her canine companion, Rebecca.
Funeral Saturday 8:15 AM from the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9:30 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Partners in Hope, C/O St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105, www.StJude.org , in memory of Helen, would be greatly appreciated.
