Helen Lotorto (Lubas), 87, of Sandyston, passed away on March 4, 2018. Born in Reading, PA, she lived most of her life in Clifton, before moving to Sandyston in 1986.
A parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle, Branchville, and former parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Passaic, Helen was a homemaker and active with the Sandyston Township Seniors.
Beloved wife of the late Saverio "Sam" C. Lotorto who passed away in 2004. Devoted mother of Barbara Szala and her husband Robert of Hillsdale, Gregory Lotorto of Milford, PA, Natalie Stivala of Red Bank, Marcine Cirigliano and her husband David of Wayne, Theresa Hanrahan and her husband Tim of Haskell, and the late Dominick and Dorothy. Loving grandmother of Alex Lotorto, Daniel Stivala and his wife Robyn, Nicole Mercer and her husband Jon, Jillian Stivala, David Cirigliano and his wife Jessica, Matthew Cirigliano, and Brianne, Tim Jr., Shannen, and Cortlyn Hanrahan. Cherished great-grandmother of Ella Cirigliano and Evelyn Stivala. Dear sister of Mary Ceglarski and her husband Clem of Passaic, Ted Lubas and his wife Helen of Dunlap, IL, and the late Edward Lubas. Dear sister-in-law of Maureen Lubas and Jean Marino.
Funeral Saturday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Passaic. Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
