Helen (Cyganik) Kolodziej, 94, of Clifton, passed away on November 21, 2011. Born in New Britain, CT, she was raised in Poland, coming back to the US in 1937 and has been a resident of Clifton since 1955. A Parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Helen was a member of the SJK Golden Circle. Before retiring several years ago, Helen was a Seamstress for Passaic Boys Clothing in Passaic for many years. Beloved wife of the late Roman L., who passed away in 1994. Devoted mother of Richard and his wife Holly of Vienna, VA, Wanda Koch and her husband Michael of Randolph, and the late Stanley "Stash" who passed away in 1993 and his wife Susan of Clifton. Loving grandmother of Roman and his wife Betsy, Kathryn, Michael and his wife Lauren, and the late Elysa Koch. Cherished great grandmother of Kate Madison. Dear sister of Walter of Ct. and John of Poland. Funeral Saturday 8:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9:30 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton.
