Helen (Sarama) Kmetz, 81, of Pequannock passed away on October 18, 2013. Born in Dupont, PA, she lived in Passaic and was a resident of Clifton most of her life before moving to Pequannock. A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Helen was a Benefits Coordinator for Hoffmann-LaRoche in Nutley where she worked for 25 years before retiring several years ago. Beloved wife of the late Ronald who passed away in 1988. Devoted mother of Joseph and his wife Elizabeth of East Stroudsburg, PA, and Karen Lamwers and her husband John of Lincoln Park. Loving grandmother of Kimberly Daidone, Timothy and Lucas Kmetz, and step grandchildren Brion and Ashley Lamwers. Dear sister of Frances Kwiatkowski of Passaic. Helen was predeceased by 7 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral Tuesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
