Born in the Dominican Republic, he came to the US in 1993 and lived in New York City before moving to Clifton. Before retiring in 2025, Hector was a Service Representative for LabCorp in New York City for 25 years.
Beloved husband of Modesta (Rodriguez) Maldonado. Devoted father of Karina M. Maldonado and Norberto A. Maldonado. Dear brother of Nidia, Mayra, Francisco, Carlos, Ana Iris and Freddy Maldonado.
Funeral arrangements are private under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home.
