Harry Kane Jr., 57, of Totowa passed away on January 14, 2013. Born in Passaic, Harry lived in Clifton for most of his life before moving to Totowa 3 years ago. Harry worked as a Facility Technician for Verizon, Clifton, for 15 years and also served as an Alternate for IBEW Local 827. A true family man, Harry would do anything in the world for those he loved and was a deeply devoted friend to many. Beloved husband of Mary Maher-Kane. Devoted father of Harry Kane III of Paterson, Stephanie Kane of Clifton, Colleen Kane of Nyack, NY, Vernon Maher and his wife FL Ettlin of Laurel, MD, Kimberly Versace and her husband Darren of Indian Land, SC, and Lauren Wagniere and her husband Jeff of Indian Land, SC. Cherished grandfather of Brianna Cain, Ashley Bigica, Alex Versace and Alexis Kane. Adored son of the late Annette Sylvia (Belena). Dear brother of Allen and his wife Diane of Clifton, Carolyn Kane and Kathleen Ottina, both of Hacketstown. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Cremation Private. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Funeral Home.
