Halina Janina (Drewa) Okwiet, 88, of Clifton passed away on March 7, 2025. Born in Gdyna, Poland, Halina came to the US in 1959 and first settled in Jersey City and Irvington before moving to Clifton in 1982. She worked in Quality Control for the Beecham Group for many years before retiring.

She was a hardworking and loving mother and a devoted friend. Always willing to help anyone in need. She was beloved by all who met her. She took great pleasure in gardening and loved flowers. Halina's absence will be felt by many.

Beloved wife for 40 years of Wieslaw Z. Okwiet. Devoted mother of Mark Guderski and his wife Suebah, Renette Stahl and her husband Eugene, and Janus Guderski and his wife Laura Longmire. Cherished grandmother of Pierce Guderski, Cassandra Guderski, Deanna Stahl, and Corinne Stahl.

Visiting Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 9AM - 12PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. A funeral mass will follow at 1PM at St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic. Cremation will be private.
