Gunter E. Juraschka, of Garfield, passed away on May 3, 2012. Born in Germany, he came to the US in 1952. A 20 year Veteran with the US Navy, Gunter served during the Vietnam War and is a member of the Garfield American Legion Post. Beloved husband of Mirtha (Pizarro). Devoted father of Milagros Chavarria and Gustavo and Enrique Montero. Dear father in law of Jacquelyn Montero and Juan Chavarria. Loving grandfather of Luis and Jessica Chavarria, Justin, Gustavo Q., Enrique, Jr., Shayla, Skylah K. and Shaelyn Montero. Dear brother of Rosalind Gonzales and Elizabeth Kanney.
