Gregory Gilmara Winberry, of Clifton, passed away on April 9, 2018. Born in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident of Clifton.
A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Gregory was a Professor at Kean University in Union.
Beloved son of the late John J. and Mary (Strasser) Winberry. Devoted brother of John Winberry of Clifton, Lourdes Winberry of Alexandria, VA, Celeste Winberry of Clifton, and Marea Winberry of Clifton.
Memorial Gathering Monday 6:30-9:30 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Memorial Mass Tuesday 11:30 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to either, The Arc, in memory of Gregory to protect the rights of people with disabilities, 1825 K Street, NW Washington, DC 20006, via www.thearc.org/tribute-gifts , or Salesian Missions, 2 Lefevre Lane, New Rochelle, NY 10801-5710, www.SalesianMissions.org.
