Grace Amato, 82, of Nutley, passed away on February 2, 2020. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Clifton for 50 years before moving to Nutley.

A parishioner of St. Clare RC Church, Clifton, Grace was a Medical Receptionist for Dr. Robert Gajdos in Clifton for 15 years, retiring in 2011.

Beloved wife of the late Louis who passed away in 2007. Devoted mother of Donna Amato of Nutley, Deborah Templeton and her husband Scott of Bell Canyon, CA, Steven Amato and his wife Judy of Bell Canyon, CA, and Dina Amato of Valley Glen, CA. Loving grandmother of Alexandra, Amanda and Zane. Dear sister of Salvatore Recupero, Betty Longo, and the late Joseph, Fortunata and Sebastian.

Funeral Wednesday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
