Gloria Frances Morales (Cherevko), 92, of Clifton, passed away on September 9, 2023 . Born in Garfield, she was a resident of Passaic Park for many years. Before retiring in 2011, Gloria was a controller and bookkeeper for Marcotex International, Inc., Passaic, capping a career of more than 50 years in this field. Gloria was an avid reader of  biographies and historical novels and was a world traveler with her daughter and son in law, Barbara and Scott.

Beloved wife of the late John"Jay" Morales who passed away in October, 2003. Devoted mother of Mark Morales and his wife Catherine of Clifton, Barbara Morales-Burke and her husband Scott Burke, and Patricia Povio and her late husband James, all of Raleigh, NC. Loving grandmother of Amelia, Nicholas and James. Cherished daughter of the late Nicholas and Frances Cherevko. Dear sister of the late Michael and John Cherevko. For the last four years, Gloria was lovingly cared for by her aide and companion Norma Joy Bell.

Services were private under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
