Gladys Rivera, 52, of Garfield passed away on December 19, 2013. Born in Paterson, Gladys lived most of her life in Paterson before moving to Garfield in 2005. She was a Receptionist and Unit Clerk for St. Joseph's Hospital, Paterson, for 25 years. Beloved daughter of Maria T. (Torres) Rivera and the late Jose R. Rivera. Devoted mother of Wanda Rivera of Garfield. Cherished "Nana" of Emery Rivera and Jada Molina. Dear sister of Jose Rivera of Garfield, Linda Rivera of Paterson, Nancy Rivera of Garfield and Luz Colon of Clifton. Loving aunt of several nieces and nephews. Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Prayer service to be held during the evening visitation. Cremation Private.
