Giuseppe P. Zingone, 89, of Clifton, passed away on October 9, 2015. Born in Motta D'Affermo, Italy, he came to the US in 1958 and lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton 55 years ago. A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Giuseppe was a Repairman for the Passaic Valley Water Commission for 26 years, retiring many years. Giuseppe was a 3rd Degree Knight with the Regina-Mundi Knights of Columbus Council #3969, Clifton. Beloved husband of the late Grace (Corona) who passed away in 1995. Dear brother of Graziella Mascarello and her husband Domenico, Rosalia Dragotto and her husband Rosario, of Italy, Carmela Cadicina and her husband Giuseppe, Giovanna and Anna Zingone, all of Garfield, Oliva Bona and her husband Antonio of Elmwood Park, Connie Silvestri and her husband Mario of Clifton, and the late Maria Zingone. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Entombment in the family mausoleum at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Monday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
