Giovanni Sardone, 87 of Union City, passed away on December 21, 2011. Born in Italy, he came to the US in May of 1970 and settled in Union City. Giovanni was a POW in Italy during WW II. A Mason for Mecca & Sons in Hoboken for many years, Giovanni was a member of the Madonna del Buon Camino in Fairview. Beloved husband for 56 years of Maria (Dininno).
