Gilberto Arroyo, 85, of Clifton passed away on March 30, 2021. Born in Puerto Rico, he came to the mainland in 1970 and lived in Bronx, NY and Passaic before settling in Clifton.  A proud US Army Veteran, Gilberto worked as a bus driver, Paramus, for many years before retiring.

Beloved husband of the late Ellen Arroyo who passed away in 2000. Devoted father of Marco Arroyo and his wife Marta Santiago of Puerto Rico, Elbert Arroyo and his wife Jazminda of Clifton, Albert Arroyo of Passaic, David Arroyo and his wife Joann of Clifton and the late Gilbert Arroyo. Loving grandfather of Marco, Jr., Yaritza, Gilbert, Jr., Yoel, Stephanie, David, Kevin, Alyssa and Emilia. Cherished great grandfather of 2.

Visitation Monday 6 – 9 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral service Tuesday  10 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Kindly meet directly at church. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
