Gertrude E. (Barna) Jordan ,96, of Taunton, MA, formally of Clifton, passed away on March 26, 2013, after a period of declining health. Born in Clifton into a large family of 7 daughters and 2 sons, Gert raised her family in Clifton and spent the last seven years living in Taunton at the Life Care Center of Raynham. Gert was a former parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church. Clifton, and the St. Paul's Leisure Club. Beloved wife of the late Thomas L. Jordan who passed away in 1980. Devoted mother of Patricia Hill and her husband James of Lakeland, Fl, and Thomas P. Jordan and his wife Annette of Berkley, MA. Loving grandmother of Jeffery Hill of Woodcliff Lakes, Lindsay Vincent of Moreland Hills, OH, and Courtney Jordan Davis of Chelsea, MA. Cherished great grandmother of Ryan and Ethan Vincent of Moreland Hills. Dear sister of Ollie Sutphen of Clifton, and the late Gladys Gulardo, Julia Frost, Nadia Walker, Mary Mizio and Ann Lawrick. Gert was a dedicated mother and friend to all. Graveside Service, Tuesday, April 2, 2013, 1:15 PM at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, cor. McLean Blvd. and Crooks Ave., Paterson, under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
