Gerald "Jerry" Sasso, 73, of Bloomfield, N.J., passed away at home on August 24, 2023. Born in Newark, N.J., he was a resident of Bloomfield for 30 years and spent his winters in Florida. Jerry was a veteran of the US National Guard and worked as a tilesetter for the Tile and Marble Union Local 7 of New York and New Jersey. Jerry enjoyed gardening, especially planting fig trees and tomatoes.  He loved the beach, going to concerts and watching sports.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Sasso, and son Aaron.
