George M. Pereksta, 70, of Clifton passed away on November 2, 2011. Born in Passaic, he was a resident of Clifton for the past 54 years. A parishioner of St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, Singac, George was a member of the Army National Guard 50th MP Co. and the North Jersey Woodcarvers. Beloved husband of Marleen (Riker). Devoted father of David of Ventura, CA, and Dr. Linda Pereksta of Oshkosh, WI. Dear brother of Barbara Craig of Cypress, TX.
