George Olsen's Obituary
George L. Olsen, 87, of Clifton, passed away on January 18, 2022. Born in Staten Island, NY, he lived in Whitehouse Station before moving to Clifton 47 years ago. A parishioner of St. Brendan & St. George RC Church, Clifton, George worked for the Elizabeth Post Office for 40 years, retiring in 1993.
Beloved husband for 47 years of Anne (Mullner). Devoted father of Brenda Olsen of Oceanside, CA, Wade Olsen of Cocoa, FL, George Olsen of Wilbraham, MA, Eric and David Olsen, both of Bristol, CT. Loving grandfather of Stephanie, Brandon, George and Laura. Cherished great grandfather of Nova and Aiden.
Visiting Wednesday 10 AM to 12 Noon at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave, Clifton. Funeral Service Wednesday 12 Noon at the funeral home. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, donations made to your favorite charity in memory of George, would be greatly appreciated.
