George Batraki, 91, of Paramus passed away on March 30, 2016. Born in Damascus, Syria, George came to the US in 1984 and first settled in Clifton before moving to Paramus in 1998. George worked as an Accountant while living in Syria and as a Custom Tailor while in the US before retiring in 1998.

Beloved husband of the late Georgette, who passed away in 2008. Devoted father of Ghassan Batraki and his wife Ghada of Syria, Riad Batraki of Canada, Bashar "Bob" Batraki and his wife Mona of Paramus, Marwan Batraki and his wife Rana of Woodland Park, Madlin Batraki of Tampa, FL, Marie Razzouk and her husband Jamil, and Mirvet Khoury and her husband Habib, all of Oldsmar, FL. Cherished grandfather of 16. Dear brother of Hanin Batraki of Syria.

Funeral Friday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, Little Falls. Interment, Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting Thursday 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
