Genevieve (Wrobel) Syrek, 84, of Clifton, passed away on July 10, 2011. Born in Passaic, she lived in Wallington before moving to Clifton 50 years ago. A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Genevieve was a bookkeeper for Par-Troy Associates in Clifton for 20 years, retiring in 1994. Beloved wife for 52 years of Edmund "Monty". Devoted mother of Michelle Polkowski and her husband Edward of Rydal, PA, Richard Syrek and his wife Sue of Redwood, NY, and Judith DiFonzo and her husband Stephen of W. Goshen, PA. Dear sister of Matthew Wrobel of Wallington, Freda Soojian of Mastic Beach, LI, and the late Mary Susicke, Lorraine Gusciora, Jean, Edward and Stanley Wrobel. Loving grandmother of 5.
