Genevieve Balut, 83, of Clifton passed away on August 4, 2011. Born in Garfield, she was a resident of Clifton most of her life. A parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton, Genevieve was a Seamstress on 8th Ave. in the Garment District in NYC for 50 years, retiring 13 years ago. Beloved sister of Anna Oskierko of Clifton, Josephine Harowicz of Wayne and Joseph Balut of Clifton. Funeral Saturday 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Friday 6-8 PM.
