Gayle Stoute, 71, of Woodland Park, was surrounded by loved ones when she departed this life on October 20th, 2023.

Born on September 19th, 1952, to Edward and Blondell Tisdale in Orange, New Jersey. Gayle was raised in Bridgeport, CT and graduated from Central High School in 1970. She attended Rutgers University, Newark, NJ. Gayle worked for the United States Postal Inspection Service as an Inspection Service Technician in Newark, NJ for over 20 years before retiring.

Married to Keith Stoute in March of 1980, they raised two children, Chanise, and Kenneth, at their family home in Clifton, NJ. The family remembers her gardening, shopping, writing, and caring for their canine companions. Her novel, Searching for Truth, was published in 2000.

Gayle is preceded in death by her beloved husband Keith Stoute, her mother Blondell Graham, and her sister Stephanie Tisdale.

She is survived by her 2 children, Chanise Stoute of Woodland Park, NJ and Kenneth Stoute of Myrtle Beach, SC; 1 grandson, Damien of Germany; father, Edward Tisdale (Willimenia) of Bridgeport, CT; 4 sisters, Adrienne Scott (Dartez) of Bloomfield, NJ, Vanya Tisdale of Frederick, MD, Kietta Tisdale of Frederick, MD, Alexis Tisdale-Horton of Bridgeport, CT.
