Gary Hatala, 59, of Wayne, passed away on July 1, 2015. Born in Passaic he lived most of his life in Clifton before moving to Wayne. A self employed IT Specialist for many years, Gary loved to travel, work on sports cars, was an avid sportsman, and enjoyed waterskiing and snow skiing. Beloved husband of Cheryl Silver-Hatala. Devoted son of the late Michael R. and Naomi (Rackowski) Hatala. Dear brother of Brian and his wife Michelle of Monroe, and Robert and his wife Toni of Parsippany. Loving uncle of Jodi, Michael, Jaime, great uncle of Kira and Kaya. Sadly missed by his canine companion, Dakota. Visiting Monday 5-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Friends of Wayne Animals, PO Box 3701, Wayne, NJ 07470, in memory of Gary, would be greatly appreciated.
