Gail (Peto) Apelian, 72, of Nutley, formerly of Clifton, passed away on April 6, 2025. Born in Paterson, she lived most of her life in Clifton before moving to Nutley.

Gail was a Social Worker at St. Mary's General Hospital, Passaic, for 50 years, retiring in 2023. A parishioner of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Clifton, Gail enjoyed singing in the church choir, was a reader at the church, and enjoyed cooking.

Beloved wife for 33 years of the late Dennis Apelian who passed away in 2015. Devoted mother of Allan Apelian. Dear sister of Thomas Peto and Sandy Fowler. Loving partner of Thomas Daudelin.

Visiting Thursday, April 10, 2025, 4-7 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Friday, April 11, 2025, 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Clifton. Cremation will be private.
