Frederick Charles Weinspach, 86, of Clifton passed away on June 17, 2022. Born in Newark, he was raised in Lyndhurst before moving to Clifton many years ago.

A US Navy Veteran, Fred was the owner/operator of Fred's Gulf Station in Clifton for many years and later worked as a mechanic for Montclair State University before retiring. Fred volunteered for the first aid squad in Wall Township and was a member of the Rand Rod & Gun Club.

Beloved husband for 64 years of Geraldine (Tucci). Devoted father of Donna Benavente and her fiancé Carmen Blasi of Fairfield, Frederick Michael Weinspach of Clifton and Marie Frank and her husband Jay of Wayne. Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Alexa, Jason and his fiancée Sara, and Lindsey. Dear brother of Barbara Bogie, Karen Gamble and the late Kathy Taylor.

Visiting Wednesday 4-8PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Thursday 8:45AM at the funeral home and 10AM at St. Brendan's RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.
