Frederick Bifulco, 93, of Lakewood, passed away on December 19, 2022. Born in Queens NY, he lived in Pompton Plains for many years, eventually moving to Lakewood in 2016. A US Army Veteran, Fred proudly served his country during the Korean War. A Public Accountant for 53 years, Fred specialized in state and local taxes at American Cyanamid, Arthur Young, and eventually was the owner of Frederick Bifulco & Associates in Mahwah, retiring in 2006. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus since 1967. Fred was a great cook, he enjoyed gardening and his morning walks around the neighborhood. He was happiest spending time with his family and friends.

Beloved husband of the late Pat (nee Walsh) who passed away in 2018. Devoted father of Gerry Bifulco and his wife Maryann of Pt. Pleasant, Mare Bifulco of Montclair, Fred Bifulco of Clifton, and Patty Bifulco of Hoboken. Loving grandfather of Nichole, Crystal, Gerard, Timothy, and the late Leah Rose- who passed away in 2003. Great grandfather of Jada Rose, Nicholas, Kaitlyn Leah, Grace and Alexus. Dear brother of the late Frank and Tony Bifulco. Dear brother-in-law of Anna Bifulco, Eileen Budney, Jim and Betty Walsh, and of the late Mary Bifulco, Jerry and Mae Walsh and Robert Budney. Loving uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visiting Tuesday, December 27, 2022, 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 10am at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Upper Montclair.
