Fred C. Margo, 66, of Clifton, passed away on March 26, 2019. Born in Passaic, he lived in Clifton all of his life.

Fred began his career with the Clifton Police Department as a Police Mechanic, later serving as a  Special Officer before becoming a Police Officer with the Traffic Division, serving the City of Clifton for 14 years.  A member of PBA Local #36, Clifton, Fred was a former member of the Masonic Lodge #271, North Arlington, and was also a member of the Adoniran Lodge #80, Lyndhurst,

Beloved husband for 38 years of Diane (Staufenberger).  Devoted father of Lindsay Margo of Clifton. Cherished grandfather of Logan Scott. Loving brother of Ted Margo and his wife Judith of Andover and the late Scott Margo, who passed away in 1985.

Funeral service Friday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
