Fred J. Kobylarz's Obituary
Fred J. Kobylarz, 88, of Passaic, passed away on July 7, 2017. Born in Passaic, Fred was a lifelong resident. A US Army Veteran of the Korean War, Fred was a member of the VFW Post #7165 of Clifton and of the American Legion of Passaic. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Fred was a member of the St. Aloysius Club of Passaic and worked as a Transportation Supervisor for the North Jersey Developmental Center, Totowa, for 20 years before retiring in 1994.
Beloved husband for 60 years of Mary (Brozyna). Devoted father of Dr. Fred A. and his wife Nora of Belle Mead, Diana Mazur and her husband Edward of Clifton, and Albert and his wife Debbie of Clifton. Loving grandfather of Andrew Stephen, Melissa and Fred. C Kobylarz, Kristen Reichert and her husband Craig, Kevin Eperjesi, Michael, Christopher and Alexis Kobylarz. Dear brother of John of Passaic and Sophie Mushinsky of Framingham, MA. Brother-in-law of Dr. Gerald A. Brozyna and his wife Lucia of Largo, FL. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Wednesday 9AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10AM at St. John Kanty RC Church. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Tuesday 4-8PM at the funeral home.
